Detailed itinerary of 10 Days Kenya Midrange Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Maasai Mara
Our guide will pick you up from the airport upon arrival or your hotel in Nairobi and embark on a journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Along the way you will enjoy watching the local people going on with their lives, have another stopover at the Rift Valley View Point to enjoy scenic views of the Rift Valley Escarpments. Continue to the reserve arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon you will go for a game drive searching for various animals calling the savannah grasslands of the reserve. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Julia’s River Camp

Day 2 – 3: full day in Maasai Mara
Spend these two days exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara National Reserve on full game drives with packed lunches.
These game drives will give an opportunity to explore the endless plains of Masai Mara and spot as many animals as possible, some of the animals to expect include lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs, waterbucks, antelopes, African wild dogs, hyenas and many more.

Day 4: Transfer from Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Wake up early for breakfast, check out of your lodge, and head to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at your lodge after check-in. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring Lake Nakuru, visit the Lake where you will see large herds of flamingoes and other bird species including cormorants among others.
You will also spot giraffes, white and black rhinos, zebras, and buffaloes among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ziwa Bush Lodge

Day 5: Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Amboseli
After morning breakfast you will check out of your lodge and head to Amboseli National Park with an en-route game drive and lunch. Arrive in the park in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner, and overnight stay at Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park Full Day Kenya Safari
Spend the full day in Amboseli National Park with early morning and afternoon game drive. Amboseli National Park is home to a wide range of habitats ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. The park is home to several animals including lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, and a variety of water birds like pelicans, crakes, and Egyptian geese among others.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park to Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will embark on a game-viewing experience to see several animals including large herds of elephants, buffaloes, common waterbucks, elands, rhinos, and several bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 8: Tsavo West National Park to Tsavo East National Park
Enjoy a morning game drive in the savannah plains of Tsavo West looking for the animals you must have missed on the previous game drive and also visit the enchanting Mzima Springs. After your lunch meals, you will drive to Tsavo with an en-route game drive, upon arrival check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ngulia Safari Lodge.

Day 9: Tsavo East National Park
Spend a full day exploring Tsavo East National Park on morning and afternoon game drives. These game drives give you a chance to explore the vast plains of the reserve and see several animals including plentiful Nile Crocodiles and hippos on the Galana River. Other animals to look out for include kudus, waterbucks, lions, reedbucks, dik-diks, and giraffes among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge

Day 10: Transfer back to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to Nairobi with en-route lunch. Your driver-guide will drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home bringing your safari to an end.
