Day 1: Pick up, Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
To mark the start of your 4 Days Rwanda Uganda Safari, you will be picked up by our representative at your hotel in Kigali or at Kigali International Airport. He will brief you about the safari and what to expect, then go for a Kigali City Tour with a visit to Kigali Genocide Memorial Site and Kimironko Market. Enjoy lunch, then embark on a journey to Volcanoes National Park with a drive through the rolling hills that make Rwanda – the land of a thousand hills.
Arrive in the park in the evening, check in at your lodge for diner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early for breakfast, meet your driver guide and head to the park headquarters in Kinigi for briefing about golden monkey trekking and the right way to behave while in the presence of these beautiful primates. Head into the forest led by an experienced guide and armed rangers, golden monkeys are endangered primate species and in Volcanoes National Park are found in the bamboo forests, where you will watch them play, feed and pick shoots for one hour.
Later trek back to the park headquarters to pick your certificates and head to your lodge for lunch. Then embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda with border crossing at Cyanika Border, after clearing with the border authorities you will continue to Bwindi arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience
Wake up early for breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking. Join other visitors at the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and the right way to behalf while in the emerald forests of Bwindi.
In groups of 8 people you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek, head into the forest searching for mountain gorillas on a trek that takes approximately 2 to 5 hours or more. Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend one hour in their presence as you watch them go on with their life in the forest.
Later trek back to the park headquarters to pick your gorilla trekking certificates, return to your lodge for short rest.
Later in the evening you will head to the Batwa Community for a cultural encounter, here you will be entertained by local dances and drama, interact with the locals, visit the medicine man among others, giving you a deeper insight into the life of the Batwa People. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then check out of your lodge and embark on a journey back Kigali with border crossing at Cyanika Border. After lunch, you will be dropped off at the hotel or at Kigali International Airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
