DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival and hotel transfer in Arusha (30 minutes’ drive)
Welcome to Arusha Tanzania: Upon landing at Kilimanjaro Airport on day 1 of 9 Tanzania Safari to Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Lake Natron, Lake Manyara & Serengeti, our company representative will be ready to welcome you, meet and greet and embark on a transfer to your hotel in Arusha where you will check in, have a meal and relax.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire national park (About 3 hours’ drive, 150km)
Arusha to Tarangire national park: On day 2 of 9 Tanzania Safari to Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Lake Natron, Lake Manyara & Serengeti, you will set off on a journey from Arusha and be driven to Tarangire national park famously known for a large heard of free grazing Elephants and Baobab trees that cover the largest part of the park. Upon arrival at the park, enjoy an enroute game drive as you head to the lodge for check in and lunch and after lunch return to the park to proceed with the game drive exploring different species of fauna and flora that make Tarangire national park unique in its own nature.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara National park (2 hours’ drive, 110km)
Tarangire national park to Lake Manyara national park: After breakfast at your lodge on day 3 of 9 Tanzania Safari to Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Lake Natron, Lake Manyara & Serengeti, you will check out of the lodge and set off on a transfer to the Lake Manyara national park where you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you will set off for a game drive where you will encounter with several wildlife species including primates such as Baboon, mammals such as Buffaloes, Giraffes, antelopes, bush babies, Wildebeests, warthogs, tree-climbing lions, bird species including the migratory birds, Waterbeds, forest birds and many more. You as well enjoy a canoe ride along Lake Manyara where you will spot more mammals as they flock the lake. You will also be able to sight several aquatic wildlife including Hippos, crocodiles and water birds among others. Later in the evening, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Lake Eyasi (3 hour’s drive)
Lake Manyara national park to Lake Eyasi: On day 4 of 9 Tanzania Safari to Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Lake Natron, Lake Manyara & Serengeti, arise abit early in the morning, grab a cup of tea and head out for an early morning game drive with an opportunity to meet the nocturnal mammals and primates before they return to their hiding corners. After this, you will exit Lake Manyara for Lake Eyasi via Karatu town and proceed to Mangola where the offices are situated. You will pay here the entrance fees and organize for a guide that will lead you on your cultural adventure with the Hadza tribe.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater (2 hours’ drive)
Lake Eyasi to Ngorongoro Crater: In case you wish to experience hunting (optional activity) with the local Hadza people, arise very early in the morning at about 5:00am on day 5 of 9 Tanzania Safari to Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Lake Natron, Lake Manyara & Serengeti, you will then penetrate into the jungle to start the hunt. This is usually a men’s activity as the ladies and children take on the responsibility of collecting fruits. After this, by 10:00am, you will be back to the lodge for a late breakfast before embarking on a journey to Karatu and connect to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend into the crater for a full day excursion with your packed lunchbox. You will be able to spot all the big 5 games in the crater. After this, enjoy your picnic lunch at the hippo pool and finally have an evening game drive as you return to your lodge for dinner and night rest.
