Detailed itinerary of 7 Days Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara, Game Drive
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you will be picked up by our representative – your personal driver guide and head to Masai Mara National Reserve.
You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge/camp after check-in and have a short rest. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive in search for wildlife including the African Big Five – lions, leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, Buffalos among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2&3: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara game reserve, Maasai Cultural Visit
These two days are dedicated to exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara National Reserve with optional Maasai Cultural Visit and Balloon Safari.
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the reserve for a full day game drives on morning and afternoon game drives with your lunch boxes. During the drive you will have a chance to spot Masai Mara’s iconic animals including lions, zebras, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, gazelles, elephants, buffaloes and many more.
You will enjoy your lunch at one of the picnic site near the hippo pool, then continue exploring the reserve till late afternoon. Later go for a visit to the Maasai Village where you will have a chance to interact with the Maasai people, be entertained by local dances and drama, interact with the elders who will share several stories and take park in cattle herding. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park with border crossing at Isebania Border. After clearing with the authorities you will change into our Tanzania vehicle and guide and proceed to Serengeti National Park with en-route lunch. Arrive in late afternoon and with en-route game drive you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After your early breakfast at the lodge, drive out for a full day game drive with our lunch boxes along the Seronera area. Enjoy the big game around Seronera River, some of the wildlife to look out for in this section include the Lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches and cheetahs.
After your game drive, you will proceed to the Visitor Centre where we have our lunch break open our lunch boxes. The Tourist Information Centre offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The shop also has a refreshment area, and we shall have our lunch from here.
In the evening go for a game drive to the Kopjes the weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. The Kopjes are good hunting grounds for lions especially in dry seasons when most wildlife come to have a dip and drink up. Look for other animals which we might have missed during the morning game drive. Return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge Visit, Optional Crater Rim Walk
Have early breakfast and proceed for a transfer to Ngorongoro with en-route game drive in the Serengeti Plains with packed lunch box.
You will get to visit the Olduvai Gorge for a chance to learn about the early life of man and findings by Dr. Mary and Louis Leaky.
Proceed through the conservation area enjoying game viewing as well as spot the local Maasai people freely moving within the conservancy and the wildlife!
Proceed to the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Drive and Departure
Have early breakfast and proceed to descend over 600 meters into the crater with your packed lunch to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.
You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually have been seen here.
After lunch, you will transfer back to Arusha where you will be dropped off either at the hotel or at the airport for your flight back home bringing your safari to an end.
