Detailed itinerary of 8 Days Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Beach
Day 1: Arrival
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by your safari guide who will brief you about the safari and then drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, leave Arusha by 07.30 in the morning and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After registration at the Loduare Main Gate, descend into the Crater and spend the whole day on game drives at the crater floor with picnic lunch at the hippo poolside picnic site.
Ngorongoro Crater is famous for an amazing concentration of animals including the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffaloes, rhinos and elephants. It is possible to spot all five on a single lucky day. Later in the afternoon before dark, we ascend up the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will head to Serengeti National Park with a visit to Masai Village or the archaeological site Olduvai Gorge where the Leakey’s discovered ancient fossils of Man that led to the Evolution theory, then enter Serengeti via Naabi Gate. You will have lunch then go ahead with game drives in Serengeti plains till evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day in Serengeti National Park. If you wish to do an early morning game drive, this is a perfect time to get a glimpse of the nocturnal species as they retire after a night out hunting and also listen and water the birds as they wake up for a new day. After breakfast, you can choose to go for a full day of game drive in Serengeti Plains or just do a morning and sunset game drives with a break for lunch and an afternoon at the lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti to Zanzibar Island
After breakfast at the lodge, you will checkout and drive to Seronera Airport for your flight to the Zanzibar Island. Arrive at Zanzibar Airport and be transferred to your hotel.

Day 6-7: Zanzibar Beach
You will spend these two days at your beach relaxing. You may choose from the various water sports and activities available or go for a sunset Dhow Cruise on one of the afternoons.

Day 8: Departure
