Detailed Itinerary of 8 Days Private Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Arrival
You shall be picked up by your driver-guide at the airport upon your arrival and transfer to your hotel in Aru
Upon your arrival at the airport, our driver shall pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha town. Check in, enjoy a late dinner and rest for the night at Zawadi House Lodge for Mid-range.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire national park, Game Drive
After breakfast, you shall be picked up by your Tanzania safari Guide from your hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park—known for its large herds of elephants and the iconic baobab trees. You shall look out for the various wildlife species such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hartebeests, elands, impalas and many birds.
Also, you will see the beautiful views of the baobab and acacia trees where the wildlife species take shelter. Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented Camp (Outside the Park) / Tarangire View Camp (Inside the park).

Day 3: Half-day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park, Transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, you will head out for a half day of exploring Tarangire National Park and its attractions and enjoy a thrilling game viewing experience as you drive around the baobab trees and savannah trees in the national park. You will see several animals as they are very active in the morning, such as leopards, elephants, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, and lions, among others you might have missed on the previous game drive.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, and go out for another game drive before proceeding to drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands, check in at the lodge, and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Your breakfast will be served at your lodge ahead of your driver to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a safari in Ngorongoro Crater, where you will visit the world’s largest caldera, which is also home to numerous wildlife species such as the Big Five—lions, leopards, cape buffalo, rhinos and elephants—as well as zebras, wildebeests, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, elands, impalas, gazelles, waterbucks, and hartebeests, among others.
During the safari, you will also visit Lake Magadi, where you will see flamingoes along the shores as well as hippos. After this experience, you will have lunch and spend the night at the lodge as above.

Day 5: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your transfer to Serengeti National Park.
After lunch, you will go out for a late afternoon game drive as you search for wildlife species in the savannah plains, such as the Big Five like leopards, lions, buffaloes, and rhinos, and also enjoy the beautiful scenery such as the kopjes where lions can be seen as they watch their prey. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and your guide will drive you on a morning game viewing experience around the central part of Serengeti national park where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, kudu, and rhinos, among others.
After having your picnic lunch enjoyed in the wilderness, you will engage in an afternoon game drive around Serengeti national park as you look out for wildlife species and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above

Day 7: Early Morning Game Drive, Flight to ARK, Day at Leisure
Enjoy an early breakfast at the camp and thereafter proceed to Seronera Airstrip with an en-route game drive in the park searching for the different animals as they return to their hiding places. Arrive in time for your flight check-in.
Once at Arusha Airport, our driver will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Check in and spend the rest of the day at rest. Dinner and an overnight stay at Zawadi House Lodge.

Day 8: Arusha National Park Safari Game Drive, Guided Walking Safari, Airport Drop-Off
After breakfast, you shall meet your safari guide and then proceed to Arusha National Park for a morning game drive. The park is famous for different landmarks, such as Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater.
You shall enjoy a guided walking safari and a game drive in the park, seeing a variety of animals, including occasional elephants, giraffes, gazelles, zebras, antelopes, and hippos among others, and acacia trees, which dot the savanna plains, among so many others. The guided walking safari takes 1-4 hours as per preference.
Have a picnic lunch in the park, after which enjoy another game viewing opportunity. Later proceed to leave the park, ending your experience with a drop-off at the JRO arriving in time for your flight check-in.
