Tanzania safaris; Tanzania is regarded as an excellent safari destination due to the great wildebeest migration that takes place in Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Tanzania wildlife safaris take place in prominent national parks, which have a variety of animals to spot. Apart from national parks , Tanzania is endowed with spectacular islands with pristine beaches such as Mnemba , Nungwi , Kendwa , Matemwe , Jambiani and many more.

Tanzania is a unique and beautiful safari destination, one that offers plenty to see and do in terms of wildlife spotting opportunities, as well as unique landscapes.

Little wonder that it ranks amongst the top safari choices as an ideal destination for first-time and experienced safari goers alike. Tanzania is home to many of the best and biggest parks in Africa and some of the most varied and unique landscapes that you will ever see, from the grasslands to woodlands, rock formations, and mountain peaks.

Tanzania does not disappoint in that during your safari, it will be complete with a glimpse of the big five or the chance to see lesser-known but equally fascinating animals.

In Tanzania the buffalo and lions in Katavi National Park, as well as the chimpanzees in the densely forested Mahale Mountains National Park, would draw “old African hands’’, getting to these sites does take longer than getting to parks in the north or south of the country.

Tanzania is blessed with the Big Five, with the greatest number of elephants, tree-climbing lions, various bird species with both the resident and migratory species and many more.
