Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Arusha Tanzania: Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport on day 1 of 8 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari, you will be welcomed by our company representative in Tanzania who will meet and greet you and take you through a briefing session of how this 8 days, 7 nights Tanzania adventure will go as you drive to your hotel in Arusha where you will check in for overnight. There are lots of optional activities to enjoy while in Arusha such as a visit to Arusha national park, Mulala Cultural Village, a 1 day Mount Kilimanjaro hike/ trek, a visit to Emusoi Center and Samaritan Village Orphanage, go shopping, visit craft shops and many more. Arusha is such an amazing town in Tanzania and is famously known as the safari town since most of the safaris start and end there. While in Arusha, tourists are as well rewarded by stunning views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro.

Day 2: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater: Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Arusha on day 2 of 8 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro safari and check out of the lodge to meet with your safari driver and embark on a journey to Ngorongoro crater a home to the world’s largest caldera that harbors abundant of wildlife species. Proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full day in Ngorongoro Crater
Full day in Ngorongoro Crater: After an early breakfast at your lodge on day 3 of 8 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro safari, descend into the caldera for an adventurous safari as you enjoy a full day adventure in Ngorongoro. You may choose to pack your lunch which will be enjoyed as picnic lunch. You will enjoy a game drive, walking safari, birding, and cultural tours all in Ngorongoro. While in the caldera, you will spot thousands of large mammals and other small mammal that thrill in this caldera including the endangered black rhinos without forgetting a golden opportunity of interacting with the local Masai people who live and graze their wildlife in the caldera alongside wildlife. After this adventure, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest as above.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National park (Central Serengeti)
Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti national park: After breakfast on day 4 of 8 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro safari, check out of the lodge and embark on a drive to the central park of Serengeti national park with an enroute game drive to see wildlife species which are active in the morning and easier to spot.
You will continue your drive to Serengeti national park where you will connect to the central park of the park (Seronera Valley area) check-in at your lodge for your lunch. After lunch, you will have a visit to the retina hippo pool to watch the hippos swimming in the pool in many numbers. You will also have a guided nature walk to get a close encounter with your surroundings in Serengeti national park as you enjoy the sunset. Your guide will drive you back to your lodge where you will have your dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Full day in Serengeti national park (Central)
Full day excursion in Serengeti national park (Central): You will have a full day adventure on day 5 of 8 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro safari exploring the central part of the park. start your day with breakfast at your lodge before heading out for your morning game viewing experience in Serengeti national park to explore the Seronera area which is known for big numbers of predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs that hunt prey like wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, buffalos, waterbucks, kudus, hartebeests among others. Lunch will be served at your lodge after your morning game viewing experience. You will have another game drive in the evening to look out for other wildlife species as you drive through the different tracks in the open savannah plains of Serengeti national park. You will see the different kopjes in the national park where lions sit and watch their prey and these kopjes include the Masai kopjes, Moru kopjes, Simba kopjes. You will return to your lodge after your game drive for your dinner and to spend the night in the comfort of your lodge. You will surely explore this magnificent part of the park all day long.

Day 6 and 7: Full day excursion in Serengeti national park
Full day excursion (2 days): In case you want to follow the migration pattern, I will recommend that you take on the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Eastern part of the park depending on the pattern of the migration at that particular period of time. An experienced safari driver will best advise on the best part of the park to explore at that time depending on the movement of the wildebeests. The great annual wildebeest migration sees over 1.5 million of wildebeests joined by elands, zebras and Gazelles and many more. This single movement sets off from Serengeti in the southern part where Calving happens around March and April and later on follow the south to Central Seronera area and the migration later on head to the western collider and River Grumeti in the months of April, May and June before heading to Masai Mara National Reserve where they cross over the Mara River between July and August. From Masai Mara, the migration into Serengeti National park heads to Lobo Area that is situated in the Eastern part of Serengeti National Park in months of October and November and proceeds to the southern part of the park once again for Calving. I advise to book your accommodations in regards to the migration month for easy access to this annual wildebeest migration. Some of the accommodations to choose from include: Sayari Camp (Jul-Nov – Northern part of Serengeti national park and the Mara River)/ Sanctuary Kusini Camp from December to March around the Southern part of Serengeti national park time for Calving/ and Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp best during the months of April to June in the Western part of Serengeti national park around River Grumeti River. There is optional Hot air balloon safari.

Day 8: Transfer back to Arusha for departures
On the last day of your 8 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge, checkout of your lodge and embark on a journey back to Arusha with an en-route game drive. When you arrive in Arusha you will be dropped at the airport for your departure flight.
