DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival & explore Nairobi National Park
Explore Nairobi National Park: On day 1 of 9 days Kenya Gateway Escapade (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Amboseli), you will be welcomed into Kenya upon airport landing or picked from your hotel in Nairobi, Meet and greet our guide as he brief you about this 9 days Kenya safari as you embark on a journey to your hotel in Nairobi where you will check in for a meal and relaxation for a few hours.
Later on in the afternoon, your safari driver will pick you up and you embark on a journey to Nairobi national park for a game drive with an opportunity to spot plenty of wildlife including Buffaloes, zebra, gazelles, giraffe, cheetahs, and many other stunning attractions in the park. Taking on a guided walk towards river Athi rewards tourists with an opportunity to watch Hippos, Crocodiles and other aquatic wildlife.
Later in the evening, you will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and overnight sleep at Cloud Hotel & Suites/ La Maison Rayale Hotel or equivalent.

Day 2: Full day excursion in Nairobi City
Full day in Nairobi: After breakfast at your hotel on day 2 of 9 days Kenya Gateway Escapade (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Amboseli), you will be met by the safari driver for a full day adventure in Nairobi exploring plant of stunning tourist attractions. On this day, you will visit, National museum of Kenya, Giraffe Centre, Daphine Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Bomas of Kenya and many more. All meals will be at the hotel as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve: On day 3 of 9 days Kenya Gateway Escapade (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Amboseli), you will have early morning breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi and await to set off from Nairobi city in the morning by 8:00am and embark on a 5-6 hours’ drive heading to Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara National Reserve a very scenic Kenya safari destination with endless plains dotted with short savannah plains offering easy views of animals living in the reserve, animals found and spotted in Masai Mara national reserve include lions, cheetahs, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, wildebeests, hartebeests and many more.
During your journey drive to Masai Mara national reserve, you will enjoy views of the rift valley escarpment as you drive through Kenya’s scenic highlands. You will have a stopover in Narok town to have a cultural experience of the Masai culture as you interact with the local community and get to know their traditions and way of life, watch traditional dance performances, see local art and craft work such as beaded jewelry in different patterns and colors. You will proceed to Masai Mara national reserve where you will see different wildlife species grazing in the nearby savannah plains as you continue your drive to your lodge for check in as you prepare to have your dinner and to spend the night at Mara Sopa Lodge/ Sentrim Mara camp/ AA Mara lodge/ Zebra plains Lodge.

Day 4: Full day excursion in Masai Mara National Reserve
Morning Game drive: You will start your day 4 of 9 days Kenya Gateway Escapade (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Amboseli) with breakfast served at your lodge as you prepare to go for your morning game drive in Masai Mara national reserve. During your game drive, you will see a variety of wildlife species such as the predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs as well as other wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, hartebeest, zebras, antelopes as well as wildebeest which are among the spectacular sights at this destination especially during the time of the wildebeest migration as large numbers of wildebeest move around the savannah plains in search of greener pastures.
Evening game drive: Lunch will be served at your lodge after your morning game drive and this will be followed with another game drive later in the evening to explore more of the wilderness of Masai Mara national reserve which is also known for sightings of the big five which includes elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos. You will return to your lodge where your dinner will be served and you will spend the night in the comfort of your lodge as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Nakuru national park
Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru national park: You will have breakfast at your lodge in Masai Mara national reserve on day 5 of 9 days Kenya Gateway Escapade (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Amboseli), then check out of the lodge as you continue your journey to Lake Nakuru national park across the rift valley escarpment as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around you since this park is known as the haven of wildlife. Lake Nakuru National park is such stunning destinations in Kenya that thrill in the Great Rift Valley region of Kenya where you will experience fascinating wildlife viewing safari in Lake Nakuru national park Kenya with plenty of tourist attractions ranging from flora species, fauna species and the water bodies among others. Lake Nakuru national park is situated in the north of Nairobi city, the capital city of Kenya. Upon park arrival, you will have be welcomed on an en-route game drive during which you will see wildlife species such as giraffes, rhinos, gazelles, buffalos, antelopes, reedbucks, elands, impalas among others as you head to your lodge for lunch.
Game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park: After lunch, you will have another game drive in Lake Nakuru national park and you will visit the flamingo filled Lake Nakuru which is a good birding spot to see flocks of flamingos along the lake shores as well as other bird species and wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. You will be driven back to your lodge after your evening game drive to have your dinner and overnight at Nakuru Sopa Lodge/ Lake Nakuru flamingo lodge/ Sentrim Elementaita camp.

Day 6: Transfer to Samburu National Reserve
Lake Nakuru national park to Samburu National Reserve: On the 6th day of 9 days Kenya Gateway Escapade (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Amboseli), enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru national park after which you will exit and set off on your journey to Samburu National Reserve where you will arrive at lunch time. Have your meal, relax abit and embark on an afternoon game drive in this stunning Reserve in the Northern part of Kenya. You will later on return to your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep at Samburu Sopa lodge.

Day 7: Full day in Samburu National Reserve
Full day excursion in Samburu National Reserve: Arise and shine in this stunning reserve in Northern part of Kenya. Well on day
7 of 9 days Kenya Gateway Escapade (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Amboseli), you will have breakfast served at your lodge after which you will meet your Kenya safari driver/ guide for a full day game drive in this beautiful Reserve spotting plenty of wildlife including the Big 5 game with exception of the Rhinos. Amongst the animals to look out for in Samburu Reserve include Oryx, Zebras, Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Cheetahs, Gerenuk, Leopards and many more. After spending an entire day over here you will retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep as above.
Note: There is an optional activity of visiting the Samburu homesteads for a cultural tour/ experience.

Day 8: Transfer to Amboseli national park
Samburu to Amboseli: On day 8 of 9 days Kenya Gateway Escapade (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Amboseli), Breakfast will be served early at your lodge in Samburu national Reserve before checking out of your lodge and continuing your transfer to Amboseli national park.
Amboseli national park is situated at the base of Kilimanjaro Mountain and the best destination to sight a huge population of elephants in their natural habitats in Loitoktok district. Upon park arrival, you will check in your lodge for lunch after which you will spend your afternoon on a game drive. During game drive in Amboseli, you will enjoy views of Mt Kilimanjaro in the backdrop of Amboseli national park and you will also see many wildlife species such as elephants in large numbers which this national park is known for. Dinner and overnight will be at Sentrim Amboseli lodge/Amboseli Sopa Lodge/ Zebra plains lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Nairobi
Amboseli national park to Nairobi: You will have breakfast on the last day of your 9 days Kenya Gateway Escapade (Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Amboseli), then continue for your morning game drive in Amboseli national park where you will see different wildlife and bird species. Your guide will drive you to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your preferred location which will be the end of your safari.
