Best time to visit Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park

Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is the only conserved ground area on Zanzibar Island, located in Kati Tanzania.  The national park was established in 2004 and covers an area of 50 square kilometers and is known for harboring different wildlife species including bird species, butterflies, huge numbers of primates such as the red colobus monkeys, Sykes monkeys, bush babies, nocturnal tree hyrax, aders duiker, Zanzibar leopard, Zanzibar servaline genet, civet, chameleons,  vegetation types like tropical forest, mangrove forests, groundwater, marine organisms like the sea fish species, dolphins among others.
