Murchison Falls national park fees 2026 : Murchison Falls National Park, formerly known as Kabalenga National Park, is a great Uganda safari destination located in the northern part of the Albertine Rift Valley, where the massive Bunyoro Escarpment amalgamates with the enormous plains of Acholi Land.
Murchison Falls national park covers an area of about 3,893 square kilometers and is famously known for hosting a huge population of wildlife, including 4 of the big 5 (lions, leopards, elephants and cape buffaloes) and Murchison Falls, formed as the Nile squeezes itself through the Gorge of 7 meters.
Murchison Falls national park offers amazing Uganda safari activities, including game viewing, bird watching, Launch cruise, sport fishing, and visiting Budongo Forest among others which are thrilling and memorable to enjoy during a Uganda safari.

Note
Annual park fees in Murchison Falls national park applies in the following instances:
- Applies to all and only foreign residents living in Uganda and East African countries; vehicle entrance is paid separately
- Not valid for package activities such as gorilla and chimp tracking, mountaineering, hiking and others
- To qualify for annual passes, Foreign residents require a work permit valid for one year
- Safari guides are individuals who guide guests through nature weather by vehicle, canoe, boat horseback or on foot, while explaining some of the remarkable secrets hidden within the natural environment of Uganda.
- Tour Company driver – is an individual from a recognized Ugandan tour company who drives tourists to the park.
