DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked from the airport or hotel within Nairobi city by 7:30 – 8:00 am, then be briefed by your safari guide about your safari tour. You will then set off on your drive to Masai Mara National Reserve with a stopover in Narok town one of the best stopovers for tourists heading to Masai Mara National Reserve. This is about 2 hours’ drive from Nairobi city. While at Narok cultural town, you will experience the Maasai culture and get to know more about the culture as you visit the craft shops and interact with the locals and as well have your enroute lunch.
After your experience in Narok town, you will continue your journey to the Rift valley and Escarpment viewing points for photo taking and finally proceed with your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve where you will arrive in late afternoon hours for a breathtaking game drive till the sun goes down. Look out for wildlife species such as Wildebeests, Zebras, Elands, buffalos, antelopes, waterbucks, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards and buffalos and many more as they graze and roam around the savannah plains. You will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full day safari in Masai Mara National Reserve
After having breakfast at your lodge on the 2nd day of your 7 days Masai Mara, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro wildlife safari tour, you will prepare for a full day game drive in Masai Mara national reserve where you will see a variety of wildlife species which are very active and can be easily seen at this time of day such as wildebeests, zebras, elephants, antelopes, buffalos, rhinos, lions, leopards among others. You will have lunch at your lodge after the morning game drive in case you don’t wish to have a picnic lunch and later on after lunch, you will have another game drive as you look for other wildlife and bird species that thrill with in Masai Mara National Reserve.
Day 3: Transfer to Nairobi
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Masai Mara National reserve on day 3 of 7 days Masai Mara, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro wildlife safari then return to the lodge for breakfast after which you will check out of your lodge and embark on a 5-6 hours’ drive to Nairobi city with an enroute lunch. Upon arrival in the city later in the evening, you will head to your reserved hotel for check in, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Arusha- Tanzania
After enjoying your early morning breakfast on day 4 of 7 days Masai Mara, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro wildlife safari, check out of the lodge and take a morning shuttle bus from Nairobi to Arusha via Namanga border point where you will cleared by customs before proceeding to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for dinner and have a night rest awaiting to explore Tanzania the next day.
Day 5: Transfer to Lake Manyara national park
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha by your safari driver/ guide on day 5 of your 7 days Masai Mara, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro wildlife safari tour and be driven to Lake Manyara National park with a stop in Mto Wa Mbu town for a cultural experience with the Masai community and enroute lunch. During your cultural visit, you will watch traditional dance performances, see local art and craftwork, and also listen to folk stories.
You will then proceed to Lake Manyara national park where you will engage in a game drive to explore the wilderness of the national park as you search for the tree-climbing lions known for being spotted in the trees as well as other wildlife species grazing in the plains such as tree climbing lions, Leopards, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, kudus, elephants, buffalos among others. You will be driven to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night after your game drive.
Day 6: Morning game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
On the 6th day of your 7 days Masai Mara, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro wildlife safari tour, you will enjoy your early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will then check out and enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara national park to see wildlife species which are active in the morning and easier to spot. You will continue your journey to Ngorongoro Crater where you will spend your night awaiting to explore the world’s largest caldera the next day.
Day 7: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha
Explore the crater and drive to Arusha: After enjoying your breakfast on the last day of your 7 days Masai Mara, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro wildlife safari tour, you be driven into a 2000ft caldera where you will enjoy a breath taking game drive viewing several wildlife species. Have your picnic lunch and later on ascend from the caldera and set off on a journey back to Arusha for a hotel drop off.

- In case you have a morning flight the next day, you will be dropped off at the airport
- In case you need to return to Nairobi, you will take a morning shuttle bus the next day from Arusha to Nairobi
