Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve: On day 1 of 6 days Masai Mara and Bwindi safari, you will either be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi in case you prefer to spend an overnight in Kenya before embarking on your safari or direct from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon landing. Your safari driver will introduce himself to you and brief you about this 6 days adventurous safari as you drive to a hotel in Nairobi for a meal. After lunch, embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Reserve situated in the south western part of Kenya which is about 5-6 hours’ drive from Nairobi. Upon arrival at park, you will be welcomed with a stunning and beautiful savanna vegetation cover that harbors a huge population of wildlife species making it one of the best destinations to visit on a wildlife adventure in Kenya. Head to the lodge for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full day excursion in Masai Mara National Reserve
Full day excursion in Masai Mara national Reserve: After breakfast on day 2 of 6 days Masai Mara and Bwindi safari, meet your Kenya safari driver/ guide and head out to start exploring the beauty of Masai Mara starting with an early morning game drive to encounter with the nocturnal mammals, hunters and other mammals that arise early in the morning to feed on fresh vegetation cover including Rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards and many others. The game drive in Masai Mara national reserve takes you to different parts of the park including near Mara River where you will spot crocodiles, hippos and other aquatic wildlife and also within the valley and any other wildlife spot in the park. On this day, you may also enjoy an optional hot air balloon. On a luck day, you will be able to witness wildebeests on a migration.

Day 3: Fly to Entebbe international airport
Fly to Entebbe international airport: Enjoy your breakfast on day 3 of 6 days Masai Mara and Bwindi safari, check out of the lodge and meet your safari driver to be driven to the airstrip to catch a flight from Masai Mara to Entebbe international airport. Upon landing, you will be welcomed by another safari driver in Uganda who will introduce himself to you and he transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for lunch. After ;lunch, embark on Kampala city tour exploring the religious sites such as Gadhafi mosque, Namirembe church and other religious sites, visit the cultural centers, craft shops, markets and many more then head to a hotel where you will enjoy your dinner and grab an overnight rest. There is an option of spending your evening in Entebbe exploring different unique attractions such as Ngamba Island and many more.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park: After an early breakfast at your hotel on day 4 of 6 days Masai Mara and Bwindi safari, meet your safari drive to start a long journey from Kampala/ Entebbe heading to south western part of Uganda where Bwindi Impenetrable national park is situated. Along the long journey, you will have two stopovers one at the equator to take some photographs while another stopover will be in Mbarara city at Igongo cultural hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with the journey heading towards Kabale while viewing stunning hills of Kigezi till you get to the park for check in, dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi: On the 5th day of 6 days Masai Mara and Bwindi safari, you need to wake up as early as possible, have breakfast, pack enough snacks and drinking water then meet your safari driver to start the journey to the park headquarters for a pre gorilla trekking briefing where all the possible information you will get to know all the possible information about gorillas, hire a porter and start the adventure in the impenetrable forest as you search for the habituated gorilla family. This will take about 2 hours to 8 hours or full day depending on several factors which include movement of gorillas, the fitness level of trekkers, and nature of the terrains among others. Upon finding the gorilla family, you will spend an hour of close view taking photographs and watching different behaviors of Gorillas. Trek back to the starting point and meet your safari driver to be returned back to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Drive back to Kampala for departures
Drive back to Kampala for departure: On day 6 which is yet the last day of 6 days Masai Mara and Bwindi safari, check out of the lodge after breakfast and meet your Uganda safari driver to start a long drive back to Kampala. Ensure that your flight is for late night in order to avoid missing out. Well, lunch will be enjoyed in Mbarara city again at Igongo hotel and once you get to Kampala, you will proceed direct to Entebbe international airport to start the clearance for your flight back home.
