Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park: In the morning on day 1 of 3 days Queen Elizabeth safari, you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala and start the 6 – 7 hours journey drive to western Uganda past Lake Mburo National park and have your stopover at the Equator to take some photographs and proceed your journey through farmlands and have another stopover in Mbarara for Lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park for hotel check in, diner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park

Morning game drive: After breakfast on day 2 of 3 days Queen Elizabeth safari, meet your safari driver and head out for an early morning game drive with in Kasenyi plains which is the best sector in Queen Elizabeth national park that conducts the breathtaking game drive adventures as it harbors the largest population of wildlife. During the kasenyi game drive, you will spot lots of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, Zebras, Lions, Warthogs, bushbucks, Uganda Kob which will be seen in their a mating circuit and several species of birds. After spending a half ay on a game drive, return to the lodge for lunch.

Afternoon Kazinga channel boat cruise: After lunch, embark on a breathtaking boat cruise along the kazinga channel as you watch several Hippos since this channel is famous for being home to the largest population of Hippos, there are other aquatic wildlife seen while on a boat cruise such as Crocodiles, water birds and many more. Look out for other wildlife that visits the kazinga channel to quench their thirst during hot suns such as Buffaloes, elephants, and many more. After the boat cruise, you will enjoy an enroute game drive as you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight sleep as you close the 2nd day of your 3 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari.

Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Kampala

Morning game drive and transfer back to Kampala: On this last day of your 3 days Queen Elizabeth safari, wake for breakfast and keeping in mind your flight details for departures, embark on  a game drive for about 2 hours to spot more wildlife in the park before starting your journey back to Kampala. On this last day, you will use a different route via fortpotal and arrive in Kampala later in the afternoon. In case you have a night flight, you will enjoy Kampala city tour exploring some unique attractions such as religious sites, markets centers, craft shops and many more. The finally drop off will be Entebbe international airport for departures back home.
