Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon landing, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will brief you about your 15 days best of Kenya wildlife safari tour as you embark on a few minutes’ drive to your reserve hotel in Nairobi where you will relax. Dinner and overnight stay at La Masion Hotel for budget/Tamarind Hotel for mid-range Meal plan: Half board
Day 2: Nairobi City tour with evening game drive in Nairobi national park
After breakfast, meet your safari guide to drive to take on a city tour and visit David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Center, Karen Blixen Museum Tour. After lunch, connect to Nairobi national park for an afternoon/evening game drive. You will look out for lots of animals that reside in this park including Buffaloes, Giraffes, Lions and many more except for Elephants. Later evening return to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay
Day 3: Transfer to Olpejta Conservancy
After breakfast, meet your driver and drive to Olpejeta Conservancy, it’s a 3-4 hours’ drive arriving at good time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy an incredible game drive with the snowy peaks of Mount Kenya as your backdrop. Your game drive in East Africa’s most prominent black rhino sanctuary is sure to be as beautiful as it is diverse. Find yourself and the big five as you explore 90,000acres of the pure wild with an experienced guide who will share his expert knowledge with you. Venture out there for close encounters with elephants, wild dogs, hyena, buffalos, cheetah, rhino and all the plains herbivore. Later on, return to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight at Sweet waters Serena Hotel
Day 4: Transfer to Samburu national reserve – Samburu cultural tour
After breakfast, drive to Samburu National Reserve, check-in at your booked lodge for lunch.
Later afternoon, visit the Samburu people. The Samburu are nilotic, semi-nomadic shepherds who live in north-central Kenya. Samburu speak the Samburu dialect of the Maa language, which is a Nilotic language. The Samburu sub tribe is the third largest in the Maa community of Kenya. The Samburu are known for their many unique cultural practices and traditions. Some of these originate from their nomadic way of life. After exploring the Samburu culture, drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Simba lodge for mid-range/Samburu Riverside Tented Camp for budget
Day 5: Full day game drive in Samburu national reserve
After your breakfast, explore the park in depth while on game drives to find the park’s habitants. Depart for a sunrise game drive when the animals are very active, and you may come across animals hunting for their prey. You will get to see various wide-open grass plains and scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife. Later on, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above
Day 6: Transfer to Lake Nakuru national park
On the 6th day of your 15 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari, After breakfast at your lodge, check-out and set off on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National park is such stunning destinations in Kenya that thrill in the Great Rift Valley region of Kenya where you will experience fascinating wildlife viewing with plenty of tourist attractions ranging from flora species, fauna species and the water bodies among others. Lake Nakuru national park is situated in the north of Nairobi city and it’s a 6 hours’ drive from Samburu national reserve. Upon park arrival, have lunch then visit the flamingo filled Lake Nakuru which is a good birding spot to see flocks of flamingos along the lake shores as well as other bird species and wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. Here you will have the chance to look out at some of the common species like the Lesser and Greater Flamingos, African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White, and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants. Drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Ziwa Bush Lodge for budget/Nakuru Safari Lodge for mid-range
Day 7: Half day game drive and transfer to Masai Mara national reserve
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast and connect for an early morning game drive to explore more of the park’s beauty. The game drive in the park allows you to see the many wild animals in the park and especially the park is the Sanctuary to the Black Rhino, White Rhino, and the Rothschild Giraffe. Also, expect animals like the lions, leopards, hyenas and different antelope species and any other missed animals in the previous game drive.
After your lunch, transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve which is about 5 hours’ drive. Masai Mara national reserve is a very rewarding Kenya safari destination famous for habiting a variety of wildlife and experiencing the exceptional great wildebeest migration. It is very scenic with endless plains dotted with short savannah plains offering easy views of animals living in the reserve. Upon arrival late afternoon, connect to your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at AA Mara Lodge for budget/Zebra Plains Lodge for mid-range
Day 8: Full day game drive – Masai Mara National Reserve
On the 8th day of your 15 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari, After breakfast, connect for your full day game drive with packed lunch in the savannah plains of Masai Mara national reserve. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildlife species and on a lucky day you will spot most of the animals such as the Zebra, Impala, Topi, Giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles. Antelopes as well as wildebeest, which are among the spectacular sights at this destination especially during the time of the wildebeest migration, which happens every year between July to September as large numbers of wildebeest move around the savannah plains of Masai Mara and Serengeti in search of greener pastures. Later evening drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 9: Another day game drive in the Masai mara plains
Optional activity; Hot air balloon – Wake early and be picked up by the air balloon team for your hot air balloon safari which starts in the early morning, just in time for sunrise. For about one hour you will be floating peacefully above the ground, with a bird’s eye view of the African bush below. The capacity for this activity is limited making this a very special and exclusive experience. Breakfast will be provided and thereafter connect back to the lodge.
After breakfast, you will head to the plains of the reserve for the final game drive sighting more animals, after the game drive, spend your half day at leisure, either relaxing at the lodge or go for an optional community tour of the Masai people. Dinner and stay overnight at lodge as above
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Naivasha – Crescent Island tour
On the 10th day of your 15 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari, After breakfast, meet your driver and connect to Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is within the rift valley region taking about 2-3 hours’ drive from the Masai mara national reserve. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel, have lunch.
Thereafter, connect to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary – a peninsula or island on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. A short boat trip from the mainland out into Lake Naivasha gives you access to the unique Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary, which hosts giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, and impalas. It is also a haven for more than 200 species of birds. The lake has many hippos, which you can easily spot from the island. Among the resident birds are fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters, black crakes, and a variety of herons. Later evening, drive back to the lodge to relax, dinner and overnight stay at Sweetlake Resort for budget/ Sopa Lodge for mid-range
Day 11: Transfer to Amboseli national park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge, meet your driver and embark on a journey to Amboseli national park. Upon arrival, proceed to check in your lodge, have lunch as you prepare to go into the wilderness to see different wildlife species grazing, roaming and hunting in the savannah of the national park. You will enjoy photography as well as the views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop of the national park during your game drive as you enjoy the beautiful scenery and the sunset. Some of the wildlife species, you will see as you explore Amboseli national park include elephants, lions, buffalos, hippos, impalas, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and lesser kudu among others. Dinner and overnight will be at Sentrim Amboseli lodge for budget/ AA Amboseli lodge for mid-range
Day 12: Full day in Amboseli national park
On the 12th day of your 15 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari, After breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed for a morning game viewing experience and to enjoy photography in the savannah plains of the national park which is home to herds of elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, antelopes, lions, leopards among others as well as different bird species. You will return to your lodge for lunch in case you never packed a lunch box and later in the evening, you will have another game viewing experience to search for wildlife species and to enjoy the sunset after which you will be driven back to your lodge for your dinner and to spend the night at your lodge.
Day 13: Transfer to Tsavo East National park
Wake up early for a cup of coffee and head to park for an early morning game drive starting as early as 0600hrs, early morning game drive offers an opportunity to watch a number of animals such as elephants, lions, leopards among others. You will return to your lodge for late breakfast then checkout and drive to Tsavo West national park, arrive in the park in time for lunch and you will have en-route game drive as you head to the park. After lunch, you will head to the park for an afternoon game drive enjoying sights of many animals such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs, wild dogs, mongoose, hyrax, dik-dik among others. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight

Day 14: Transfer to Tsavo East national park
On the 14th day of your 15 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari, wake up as early as 0600 hrs you will head to the park for an early morning game drive on which you will enjoy watching early risers such as lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, buffaloes, hyrax among others. You will also visit the Mzima Springs for viewing hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish and a variety of birds. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge for late breakfast, you will later checkout and embark on a journey to Tsavo East arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. Tsavo East forms one of the largest protected areas in Kenya famously known for man eaters and red elephants, the is a home to a variety of wildlife such as rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk among others. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 15: Morning game drive – transfer back to Nairobi – Departure
After breakfast, head to the park before sunrise for an early morning game drive enjoying sights of leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs among others. After the game drive, embark on your journey back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your own booked hotel or be dropped at the airport for check-in for your onward flight back home.
