Detailed Itinerary of 14 Days Ultimate Uganda Luxury Safari
Day 1: Airport pickup
On day 1 of the 14 Days Ultimate Uganda Luxury Safari, on arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your accommodation in Kampala for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, the journey takes approximately 8 to 9 hours with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on which you will encounter rhinos on feet.
From Ziwa, you will have another stop in Masindi Town for lunch and continue to Murchison Falls National Park, have a chance to stop by the top of the falls where you will see the Nile’s beauty. At this point, the Nile compresses from a width of 50 meters into a 7–7-meter canyon to form Murchison Falls – the most powerful waterfall in the world.
After this amazing experience, you will continue to your lodge, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 3: Wildlife viewing in Murchison Falls National Park
Have early breakfast, and head to the park for a game drive on the northern bank of the river Nile where you will see various wildlife species including elephants, lions, cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, Bohor reedbuck, hyena, leopards, and lions among others.
Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest, and head out for the afternoon boat cruise which takes you upstream on the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls stopping a few meters from the bottom of the falls. While on the boat, you will have a chance to marvel at schools of hippos and crocodiles in the waters, elephants, waterbucks, Uganda kob, and many others along the banks of the Nile. The boat cruise is the perfect experience for bird–watching enthusiasts offering a chance to see many bird species such as the rare shoebill stork, Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, Brown pelican, Red-throated bee-eater, various kingfishers Fish eagles among others.
After the boat cruise, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Kibale National Park via Hoima and Fort Portal, the journey is around 6 hours with scenic views of landscapes, green countryside, traditional homesteads, tea plantations, and much more.
You will have lunch in Fort Portal and continue to your lodge where you will spend the rest of the day relaxing. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Have early breakfast and drive to Kibale National Park’s headquarters for a briefing about tracking chimpanzees in the wild, then head into the forests of Kibale looking for chimpanzees. Along the way, you will spot other primates inhabiting the forest such as red colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, brown monkeys, and olive baboons among others.
Along the trek, your ranger will provide you with detailed explanations about the primates, forest fauna, and flora. After finding the chimpanzees, you will spend one hour in the presence of chimpanzees observing them jump from one branch to another, pick fruits, and groom each other.
Head back to the lodge for lunch and refreshments. After lunch, you will go for a visit to the community and a walk in the Bigodi Swamp which is home to about 200 bird species and 8 primate species which you will enjoy sight of during the guided walk.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, a drive of about 3-4 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way you will enjoy views of the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range, when you arrive in the park you will head to your lodge for lunch.
Ain the afternoon, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel – a natural water channel connecting Lake George to Lake Edward. This launch cruise offers great opportunities to spot various wildlife including the highest concentration of hippos and Nile crocodiles in the waters, elephants, buffaloes and many water birds along the banks of the channel.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast, and head to the park for a full-day game drive. You will have a chance to explore the various regions of the park and spot various animals including lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, elands, African wild dogs among others, and many birds.
Head back to your lodge for lunch, and later return to the park for another game drive till evening.

Day 8: Kyambura Gorge. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will head to the Kyambura Gorge for a guided walk looking for chimpanzees, when you find the chimpanzees, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as they play on tree branches, pick fruits they eat, and groom each other.
Head back to your lodge for lunch, and later set off on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha Sector with an en-route game drive with sights of tree-climbing lions if you are lucky.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This is a remarkable day for this safari package, have an early breakfast and head to the park’s headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. A ranger will take you through rules and regulations to follow while in the forests, in groups of 8 people. You will head into the forests of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas, the trek takes about 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and their feeding range.
When you find the gorillas, you are allowed to spend only an hour with them watching them go on with their daily life, watching them grooming each other, rest and you can take pictures as long as your flashlight is off.
Arrive in the park in the evening, check-in at your lodge, have dinner, and stay overnight at your lodge.

Return to the starting point and head to the Batwa Community for an insight into their lifestyle, traditions, and customs. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Drive from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will have a leisure drive to Lake Bunyonyi with a stopover in Kabale Town for lunch, continue to Lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest lake in Uganda and the second deepest in Africa. The lake has more than 20 small islands each with a beautiful history.
You will spend the afternoon relaxing and sightseeing around the lake. Have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 11: Relaxing day at Lake Bunyonyi
This whole day in Lake Bunyonyi is dedicated to relaxation at the lodge situated on one of the islands of Lake Bunyonyi, you can take a boat ride on the Lake and visit several islands situated in the lake such as the Punishment Island and learn more about their history.

Day 12: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a drive to Lake Mburo National Park on a journey of 5 hours with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and a visit to the Igongo Cultural Center where you will learn and experience the culture of the Banyankole people and then proceed to Lake Mburo. Check-in at your lodge, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 13: Wildlife game drives in Lake Mburo
Have breakfast, and go for a full-day game drive in the savannah plains of Lake Mburo National Park, the park is renowned for various animals including zebras, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, topis, and elands which you will spot during the game drive.
Also, you will spot various birds such as Papyrus Gonolek, brown-faced Lapwing, and Carruthers Cisticola among others. Head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will return for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. During the boat cruise, you will enjoy sightings of many water birds in the swamps and animals drinking along the shores of the lake.

Day 14: Wildlife bushwalk. Drive to Kampala
After breakfast, you will head to the park for a wildlife safari walk. For security purposes, you will go with an armed range. As you walk on various trails, you will encounter herds of zebras grazing alongside the long-horned Ankole cattle.
If you are lucky enough, you will be able to see hyenas in their caves. Return to your lodge for lunch, and later embark on a drive back to Kampala. Have a stopover at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers who make ceremonial drums using the local techniques passed down for many generations. You will make another stop at the equator for photographs.
When you arrive in Kampala, you will be dropped off either at the hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
