Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge consists of 65 guest rooms and one suite housed in cluster of traditional domed rondavels arranged around the stunning infinity pool of the park, the lodge’s structures and the rooms are set high on a hill with rolling plains below which forms a natural amphitheatre. Rooms at Serengeti Serena Safari lodge offers a ringside seat for watching the annual wildebeest migration from your room’s balcony. The structure of the lodge is a traditional stone built and thatched architecture with private balconies on each room, the private balcony boost stunning views of Serengeti national park.

Serengeti Suite 

Serengeti suite is a beautiful and spacious consisting of a spacious room with a king bed featuring a walk – in mosquito net, a dressing area, beautiful furniture pieces and marble en-suite bathroom. Serengeti Serena Safari lodge offers restaurant and various dining experiences in the impressive and surrounding plains of the lodge, at the lodge you wake in the morning with a cup of dine Tanzania coffee or tea at your spacious balcony. While at the lodge, expect to enjoy an English breakfast or sundowner cocktails in the bush, a cocktail on the terrace overlooking the infinity pool in the evening.

Restaurant 

Restaurant at Serengeti Serena Safari lodge is a two tier dining rooms supported by massive papyrus –topped pillars and embellished with sumptuous traditional Makonde carvings and high-domed halls, the dining rooms are linked by shaded walkways and clustered around the roaring furnace of the central, circular barbeque arena. 

At the restaurant breakfast and lunch are presented in buffet style with a wide range o international choices, in a typical safari style full English breakfast and European options are offered. Dinner is served with table d’hôte dinner menus featuring a salad buffet, soup, entrée, pudding, cheese, biscuits, tea and coffee. Vegetation options are also available at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Majority of the meat, dairy products, fruits and vegetables at Serengeti Serena Safari lodge are got from the local communities around Serengeti national park. 

Bush lunch 

Bush lunch at Serengeti Serena Safari lodge is an exciting retreat of lunch in the middle of the beautiful wilderness, bush lunch set on beautiful savanna grassland of Serengeti national park under acacia trees offering a wonder natural ambiance. This experience offers a great time of enjoying meals while enjoying the nature and watching animals. 

During bush lunch, a standard four course meal with active grilling of meat is offered, the meal also includes salads, soup, dessert-sweets and tropical fruits. 

Sundowners 

Sundowners experience at Serengeti Serena Safari lodge offers a traditional retreat in the wilderness of Serengeti national park, the experience including enjoying drinks while watching the sun go down which is unforgettable backdrop. 

Sundowners experience commences as the sun starts descending which is usually 6:00 pm, this experience starts with a gentle drive to the scenic spot. The sundowners spot is set with chairs, lamps, a campfire and bush bar with cocktail snacks, in the sundowners experience you are entertained by the local Maasai playing local music.  

Bush dinner 

Bush dinner at Serengeti Serena Safari lodge is set at a scenic location of the park, this experience set a timing coinciding with sun as it set which is around 6:00 pm as of the equator. Bush dinner commences with a game drive or a short stroll to the hilltop site where the experience is offered, the bush dinner site is set with tables, chairs, lanterns, campfire and a bush kitchen. During the bush dinner experience you are entertained by traditional marimba music and a 5 course dinner is offered, the meals are prepared on the blazing charcoal BBQ and meat, fish, poultry and supplementary vegetarian choices such as salads, fruit and desserts are offered. A fully stocked safari bar is also provided.
