DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park: In the morning on day 1 of 7 Days Queen Elizabeth, Gorilla Trekking, Golden monkey trekking, Mount Gahinga Hike & Lake Bunyonyi, you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala and start the 6 to 7 hours’ drive to western Uganda past Lake Mburo National park and have your stopover at the Equator to take some photographs and proceed your journey through farmlands and have another stopover in Mbarara for Lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park for hotel check in, diner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park
Morning Game drive: After breakfast on day 2 of 7 Days Queen Elizabeth, Gorilla Trekking, Golden monkey trekking, Mount Gahinga Hike & Lake Bunyonyi, meet your safari driver and head out for an early morning game drive with in Kasenyi plains which is the best sector in Queen Elizabeth national park that conducts the breathtaking game drive adventures as it harbors the largest population of wildlife. During the kasenyi game drive, you will spot lots of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, Zebras, Lions, Warthogs, bushbucks, Uganda Kob which will be seen in their a mating circuit and several species of birds. After spending a half ay on a game drive, return to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise: After lunch, embark on a breathtaking boat cruise along the kazinga channel as you watch several Hippos since this channel is famous for being home to the largest population of Hippos, there are other aquatic wildlife seen while on a boat cruise such as Crocodiles, water birds and many more. Look out for other wildlife that visits the kazinga channel to quench their thirst during hot suns such as Buffaloes, elephants, and many more. After the boat cruise, you will enjoy an enroute game drive as you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight sleep as you close the 2nd day of your 7 days Uganda safari.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth national park: Once you’re done with breakfast on day 3 of 7 Days Queen Elizabeth, Gorilla Trekking, Golden monkey trekking, Mount Gahinga Hike & Lake Bunyonyi, check out of the lodge with packed lunch and meet your safari driver for a transfer to Ishasha sector for yet another thrilling game drive to encounter with the tree climbing lions which are only found in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park and the other remaining population is found in Lake Manyara national park in Tanzania. Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park & transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi in penetrable national park: Arise early in the morning for breakfast on day 4 of 7 Days Queen Elizabeth, Gorilla Trekking, Golden monkey trekking, Mount Gahinga Hike & Lake Bunyonyi, pack enough drinking water, snacks and wear that perfect gorilla trekking gear and meet up your safari driver for a transfer to the trailhead of the sector you intend to trek in. while there, you will be briefed about gorilla trekking dos and don’ts, expectations and many more. Ensure that you hire a porter and finally set off on your dream adventure as you search for the habituated mountain gorillas in the dense forest of Bwindi impenetrable national park. The entire gorilla trek lasts between 30 minutes to 7 hours or entire day depending on the movement of gorillas in regards to where the family was seen nesting the previous evening. After finding the gorilla family, you have one hour with gorillas then return to the lodge for dinner, check out and be driven to Mgahinga gorilla national park where you will spend your overnight.

Day 5: Mount Gahinga Hike
Mount Gahinga Hike: After an early breakfast on day 5 of 7 Days Queen Elizabeth, Gorilla Trekking, Golden monkey trekking, Mount Gahinga Hike & Lake Bunyonyi, dress up in your best volcano hiking gear, pack enough water for drinking, some snack, lunchbox and whatever you feel like will make your hike more fascinating. Meet your Uganda safari driver for a transfer to the briefing grounds where you will join other hikers from different parts of the world. During the briefing, feel free to inquire about anything you need to know before starting the hike then hire a porter and obtain the hiking stick to start the adventure of summiting the top of Mount Mgahinga and descend back on the same day. During the hike, you have a golden opportunity of encountering with a lot of wildlife including primates such as Mountain gorillas, Golden monkeys , mammals such as forest hogs, bush pigs, elephants, plenty of bird species since Mgahinga gorilla national park thrills with several species of birds, identify some butterflies, tree species and many more. Upon arrival at the top of Mount Mgahinga, you will be rewarded with a stunning caldera swamp, a view of the entire Mgahinga gorilla national park and the neighboring Volcanoes national park in Rwanda. Spend a few hours observing the nature and enjoying the cool breath while taking photographs and finally start descending back to the starting point where your safari driver will be waiting for your return to be returned back to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga gorilla national park & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga: An early morning breakfast will be served on day 6 of 7 Days Queen Elizabeth, Gorilla Trekking, Golden monkey trekking, Mount Gahinga Hike & Lake Bunyonyi, meet your safari driver for a transfer to the park headquarters where you will be briefed before embarking on golden monkey trekking adventure with in the wilderness of Mgahinga gorilla national park. Golden monkey trekking is more enjoyable than gorilla trekking as you will be in position to view these beautiful primates jumping over your head from one tree branch to another twisting their tails cheerfully. This activity last at least 1-4 hours and one hour of close viewing and photo taking is allowed before you return to the lodge for lunch.
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi: After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and embark on a 2-3 hours’ drive from Mgahinga national park to Lake Bunyonyi in kabale for an evening nature walk or relaxation at the shores of the lake. You may also take part in mountain biking to explore the local communities along the lake.

Day 7: Canoe ride and transfer to Kampala
Canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi: On the last day of your 7 Days Queen Elizabeth, Gorilla Trekking, Golden monkey trekking & Lake Bunyonyi safari, breakfast is the first thing to enjoy at the shores of Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in east Africa and second deepest in entire Africa continent with a lot of tourist attractions. But due to limited time on this 7 days Uganda safari, you will only enjoy a dug in Canoe ride or boat ride to explore some of the 29 islands found on Lake Bunyonyi.
Transfer to Kampala: After the 2 hours of the boat/ canoe ride, you will check out of the lodge and set off on a journey from Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala. Enroute lunch at Igongo cultural hotel in Mbarara city and upon arrival in Kampala, you will directly be dropped off at Entebbe international airport or any other preferred location with in Kampala or Entebbe and your safari will be done.
