Detailed Itinerary of 5 Days Uganda Safari
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will be your driver guide, and then you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stop at the Equator for photos.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and have a short rest. In the afternoon we shall go for a game drive, exploring the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, searching for wildlife. Some of the animals to look out for include prides of lions, Uganda kobs, elephants, leopards, among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Safari
Wake up early for breakfast and head to Kasenyi Plains for a game drive to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and more. Return to your lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon head out for the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. Expect to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife, such as herons and crested cranes, among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kibale Forest via Crater Lakes
Wake up early, have a cup of coffee, and head out for an early morning game drive, on which you will see several animals, most especially early risers like lions, leopards, and hyenas. Return to your lodge for a full breakfast, later check out and drive to Kibale Forest National Park with a visit to the crater lakes region for photos and relaxation. Arrive at your lodge for an evening of rest, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Community Visit
Wake up early for breakfast, and head to the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking and the right way to behave while in the forest. With armed rangers and guides, head into the forest to search for chimpanzees; the trek takes approximately 2 to 4 hours or more depending on the movement of the chimpanzees and where they spent their previous night.
Spend one hour in the presence of the chimpanzees watching them play, feed and groom.

Later, return to your lodge for lunch and then go for a visit to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a nearby local community, for a cultural experience. Here you will interact with the local people, be entertained by local dances and drama, and visit the medicine man, gaining a deeper insight into the life of the local people. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and journey back to Kampala with a lunch en route. You will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
