Detailed itinerary of 5 Days Kidepo Valley National Park
Day 1: Source of the Nile and Transfer to Sipi Falls
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Company representative (Your driver guide) and head to Jinja with a stopover at Sezibwa Falls part of the Kabaka’s trail. Then proceed to Jinja for the source of the Nile and the Gandhi monument excursions.
After lunch, you will continue on a transfer to Sipi Falls. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Sipi Falls, Nyero Rock Paintings and Soroti
After breakfast, you will hike to the Sipi Falls and enjoy its beautiful. This experience is like no other. We will have a lot of photography sessions to create lasting memories before we head back for lunch and continue to Nyero Rock Paintings. These are historical caves that have ancient painting believed to be over 2000 years of age. There are lots of learnings hereto understand how people of those times lived life. Proceed to Soroti and check on at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Soroti Rock and continue to Kidepo Valley National Park
Have early morning breakfast, then have a rock climbing experience for an exciting view of the city and explore more caves. Return by 10 am and embark on journey to the famous and remote Kidepo Valley National Park.

Day 4: Full Day in Kidepo Valley National Park
Spend the full day exploring Kidepo Valley National Park on early morning game drive and afternoon visit to Karamojong Community with lunch and dinner and the lodge.
Have early breakfast and head to the park for a morning game drive, giving you a perfect introduction to the vast plains of Kidepo Valley National Park with lots of opportunities to spot rare wildlife species that are not found anywhere else in Uganda. These include but not limited to cheetahs, lions, elephants and much more.

The park’s perennial waters attract large numbers elephants and a thousands of buffaloes, especially during the dry season. Here you will also spot the Ostrich birds, if you are lucky. In the afternoon, we shall go visit to the local communities where you will learn more about their customs and traditions, through local dances and drama, interaction with the elders, visit the medicine man and the craft shops where you can buy some beautifully crafted art and décor pieces. In the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure
Have early breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a 10 hours’ drive to Kampala via Gulu Town, Karuma Falls. Along the way you will have stops for lunch and at the various interesting sites like the view of the Falls on the main road, reach Kampala in the evening and you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home.
