Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale forest national park
This day marks the start of your 3 days Uganda chimpanzee habituation safari, after morning breakfast at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, you will meet your safari driver who will give you a short briefing about the safari. Checkout of your hotel and embark on a drive to Kibale national park, On your way you will have a stopover in Fortportal for lunch and visit craft shop for souvenirs and, plantations, Tooro palace for learning more about the Tooro kingdom, after the visits you will proceed to Kibale national park and when you arrive, you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: chimpanzee habituation experience
After morning breakfast which you will have as early as 5:30 am, you will head to the park’s headquarters for briefing about the experience in which rules and regulations to follow will be read to you. After briefing you will hike into the forests of Kibale in search for chimpanzees, locating for the chimpanzees takes about 1-2 hours as they are found in the last place where they spent the last night. Your safari guide knows more about where the chimpanzees made their nests, chimpanzee habituation offers an entire day in the presence of chimpanzees of observing the behaviors of the chimpanzees, watching them feed and take amazing pictures.
Since you are to spend a full day in the presence of the chimpanzee you are to go with your packed lunch, after the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: drive back to Kampala
After a mouthwatering breakfast at your lodge, you will pack up your belongings, meet your safari driver and checkout of the lodge, then embark on your journey back to Kampala, on your way you will have a stopover for lunch and then proceed to Kampala. When you reach in Kampala you will be dropped off either at your residence hotel or at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight.
