Day 1: Kigali city tour & transfer to volcanoes national park
- Volcanoes national park: On day 1 of 3 days Rwanda gorillas and Golden monkey trekking safari in Volcanoes national park, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali or from Kigali international port by our company representative and head for a city tour to explore Kimironko market, Kigali genocide memorial sites, and many more. After the Kigali city tour, you will be driven to Volcanoes national park via park headquarters for clearance and pick up both the gorilla trekking permit and Golden monkey trekking permit as you proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking & a visit to Ibyiwacu cultural village
- Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park: Have your breakfast served in the morning of day 2 of 3 days Rwanda safari then be transferred to the park headquarter for a briefing at 7:00am with other trekkers before setting off for gorilla trekking adventure in the wilderness of Volcanoes national park. After briefing, penetrate the forest in search of habituated mountain gorillas available for trekking. Spend one hour with the gorillas after landing on them as you watch them, take photographs, and learn some of their manners such as feeding, breast feeding, copulating among others and later on be transferred back to your lodge to freshen up as you warm up for an evening cultural tour to the Ibyiwacu cultural village. Spend your evening enjoying the entertainment by the local Rwandese and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Golden monkey tracking & Transfer to Kigali for departures
- Golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes national park: Enjoy an early breakfast on day 3 of 3 days Rwanda safari in Volcanoes national park, transfer to the park headquarters again for briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the Golden monkeys. After the briefing, penetrate the forest alongside rangers and guides in search of a habituated troop of golden monkey. Golden monkey tracking lasts between 1 hour and 4 hours but you are entitled to only one hour of close viewing and photo taking session. Once you are done with tracking the golden monkey, return to the lodge for lunch and check out to embark on the drive to Kigali for hotel drop off or airport drop off according to your next safari destination.
