Embark on this a 3 Days Gorilla Fly-In Express safari giving you a chance to meet the endangered mountain gorillas on gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in the south western part of Uganda.
This impenetrable forest covers an area of 321 square kilometers and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its biodiversity and hosting half of the remaining population of mountain gorillas.

Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Gorilla Fly-In Express
Day 1: Entebbe – Kihihi
After breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe, you will be picked by our guide and transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you will be welcomed by our guide and drive to your lodge. Spend the rest of the day at rest or go for a guided walk in Bwindi Forest.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today is the climax of your 3 Days Gorilla Fly-in Express safari. Wake up early for a cup of coffee, meet your driver-guide and head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking. A senior ranger guide will take you through rules and regulations to follow while in the forest, the right way to behave and what to expect.
After registration, you will be divided into 8 groups then be assigned a gorilla family to trek. With an armed rangers and guides, you will head into the forest and start your journey of looking for mountain gorillas.
The trek takes approximately 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. With help of your rangers who are always in constant communication with the trackers who leave prior, you will be able to find the gorillas and along the way you will see other forest creatures such as various bird species, forest elephants and buffaloes among others.
When you locate the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas, watching them feed, groom, female gorillas feeding their babies under the gaze of a dominant silverback. You are allowed to take pictures as long as your flashlight is off. Later trek back to the park headquarters to pick your gorilla trekking permits, meet your guide and return your lodge for rest. In the evening, you will go for a Batwa Village Tour where you will be entertained by local dances and drama, visit the traditional medicine man among others giving you a deeper insight into the lives of these forest people. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Departure
Sadly, this is the last day of your 3 Days Gorilla Fly-in Express. After breakfast at your lodge, bid farewell to the kind staff and embark on a drive to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. Connect to your flight back home or to your next destination.
