Day 1: Pick up from Kigoma Airport, Transfer to Gombe National Park
To mark the start of your 3 Days Gombe Chimpanzee Trekking Safari, you shall be picked from Kigoma Airstrip upon your arrival, transfer to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel from where you shall catch a dhow boat to transfer to Gombe National Park. Upon your arrival, transfer to the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for your lunch.
In the afternoon you will go on a visit to the Jane Goodall Institute – The centre is where Louis Leakey famously first sent Jane Goodall to observe chimpanzees, where she discovered that chimpanzees use tools, revolutionizing Western science’s understanding of the animal world and our relationship to it. And it is the setting for our origin story. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking Experience
Today, you get to spend your day with the chimpanzees. After breakfast, you will be driven to the starting point where you will briefed about the activity. Chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park is a whole day activity. After interacting with these intelligent creatures, you shall enjoy lunch in the park. Later in the evening, you shall transfer back by boat to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel. Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.
