Detailed itinerary of 10 Days Kenya, Tanzania & Gorilla Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Naivasha for Boat Cruise
On arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide at the airport, after a short briefing you will embark on a journey to Lake Naivasha arriving time for lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Naivasha as you head to the Crescent Island found in the middle of the lake. On this island you will engage on a guided walk for a closer encounter of several wildlife species including giraffes, zebras, warthogs, gazelles and several birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve which is approximately 3 hours away. On arrival in the park you will go on a game drive as you head to your lodge, enjoy your lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you will go for game drive exploring the endless savannah plains and enjoying sightings of several animals.

Day 3&4: Experience Masai Mara with an optional hot air balloon safari
Explore the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve on these two full days on game drives and balloon safaris. You will have full game drives with picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites along Mara River and hippo pools.
During the game drives, you will have a grand opportunity to explore the reserve and get a chance to see various animals including wildebeests, elands, zebras, giraffes, lions, leopards, rhinos, rhinos, cheetahs, gazelles among others. Additionally, you can do a hot air balloon safari on which you will enjoy aerial views of reserve and an eye’s view of lions, wildebeests and other several animals and the plains.

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park with border crossing at Isebania Border and en-route lunch. When you arrive in the park, you will have en-route game drive as you head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Spend a full day in Serengeti National Park exploring the endless savannah plains on full day game drive with picnic lunch. Game drives in the Serengeti are a highlight activity to do on a Serengeti Safari, some the animals to lookout for include cheetahs, elephants, lions, rhinos, gazelles, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, dik-dik, gazelles, impalas, hartebeest, topi, waterbuck and hyrax among others.

Day 7: Transfer to Arusha and fly to Entebbe (Flight own booking)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch a domestic flight to Entebbe International Airport. You will be welcomed by our guide and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Forest
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your guide and embark on a journey to Bwindi Forest with a stopover at the Equator for pictures and water experience and in Mbarara for lunch. Continue to Bwindi Forest arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Have early breakfast, meet your guide and head to the park’s headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and the right way to behave while in the presence of the gorillas. In groups of 8 people, you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek. Venture in the rainforests of Bwindi looking for the endangered mountain gorillas, the trek takes approximately 2 to 5 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night.
Upon locating the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend only one hour watching them go on with their lives in the forest. Trek back to the park headquarters to pick your gorilla trekking certificates and head back to your lodge and spend the rest of the day at rest, or go for a Batwa Village Encounter.

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and embark on a journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara. Your guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for flight back home bringing your safari to an end.
