Detailed Itinerary of 9 Days Luxury Tanzania Safari
Day1: Arusha City
On landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet our driver guide and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.
Depending on your time or arrival, you will go for Arusha City Tour visiting the Cultural Heritage Centre, Maasai Market of Curios and Crafts among others. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day2: Arusha- Tarangire
Enjoy delicious breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to the impressive Tarangire National Park where you will enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
Tarangire National Park is a scenic park popularly known for its large herds of elephants and the iconic baobab trees dominating the park’s landscape, the park’s ecosystem is fed by Tarangire River from which the park gets its name.
During game viewing drives in Tarangire National Park keep your eyes out for animals like large herds of elephants, hippos, leopards, cheetahs, African buffaloes, hyenas and zebras among others.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti
Today we head to the iconic Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park, the journey takes you through the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with your packed lunch boxes.
Along the way you will have a stopover at the Ngorongoro View point to enjoy scenic views of Ngorongoro crater from above, then descend into Ngorongoro crater on your way to Serengeti. Then head to the central area of the park known as the Seronera Area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, elands among others which you will enjoy watching.
The Seronera Area is fed by the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s wildlife.

Day 4& 5: Follow The Great Migration in Serengeti National Park
Today we explore the endless plains of Serengeti National Park following wildlife’s incredible occurrence – the Great Wildebeest Migration. After breakfast, you will have a chance to follow the Great Migration to Northern Serengeti. Still Serengeti is filled with many to offer apart from the migration, the endless plains are home to several wildlife species including leopards, lions, cheetah, buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, giraffes, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles and many more.
You will also spot a variety of birds and also enjoy the scenic views of the rolling landscape.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti
Spend a full day game drive in Central Serengeti.
Serengeti’s Central region is teeming with wildlife, the area possesses a variety of habitats ranging from swamps and rivers to Kopjes and thick woodlands which in turn nurture a variety of fauna.
You will explore the famous Seronera Valley – home to a dense population of big cats and is referred to as the Big Cat Capital of Africa. Lookout for animals like lions often seen in the Kopjes, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, wild cats, caracals among others.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
Enjoy breakfast, head to Serengeti National Park with your packed for a morning game drive. Then depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with en-route game drive.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
Have early breakfast,, check out and head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend into the crater for a full day game drive.
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.
The crater supports a vast variety of animals which include herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, eland, warthogs, hippos, elephants and predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs among others.
During the game drives, you will have a break for picnic lunch and continue exploring the crater till evening.

Day: Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on a journey back to Arusha where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
