Mkomazi National Park Bird Checklist : Mkomazi national park is located in the Northeastern part of Tanzania in Lushoto district. This national park was first gazette as a game reserve in 1951 and later it was officially established as a national park in 2006 with the main purpose of protecting all the wildlife animals and birds in the country. Mkomazi national park shares boarders with other countries like Kenya and it covers a total surface area of about 3,234 square kilometers and under the management of Tanzania National park Authority who have a major role of protecting all the national parks in the country. In addition, this national park is seen as a good birding destination because it harbours around 400 birds, which all mentioned in the list below;
