To participate in hot air balloon safari in Akagera national park, you need to book your experience a head of time with your preferred tour company / local operator to get yourself a seat. For a hot air balloon safari experience in Akagera national park, you will have an early morning coffee and you will head be driven to the takeoff site at Kayitaba, you will enjoy sight and take pictures of the experienced pilots as they inflate the balloon. You will then climb in to the basket of the balloon and the flight will then begin. As you flight above the landscape of Akagera, you will witness the dawn over Lake Ihema and also spot various wildlife creatures roaming around the savannah grasslands of the park.
