Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: arrival and transfer to volcanoes national park
On the 1st day of 3 days Rwanda mountain gorilla luxury safari you will be picked from your lodge after early morning breakfast then head to Kigali for a city tour, on the city tour you will visit Kigali memorial centre, kimironko market for souvenir shopping, former king’s palace and many. You will have lunch and then embark on your journey to Volcanoes national park. When you arrive in the park you will check into your lodge and in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking
On the 2nd of 3 days Rwanda gorilla safari you will have early morning breakfast and at exactly 6:00 am you will head to the park’s headquarters for tan encounter with the huge mountain gorillas. At the park’s headquarters you will have briefing about the rules and regulations to follow on this experience, hire a porter and be assigned a gorilla group to trek. Then head on a trek in the thick forests of volcanoes national park looking for mountain gorillas, this exercise takes about 3-5 hours and depends on the movement of mountain gorillas and where they spent their previous night.
Mountain gorillas are found in groups amidst the thick forests which is a fascinating encounter, you are to spend one hour in the presence of mountain gorillas while watching the gorillas take care of their babies, play with each other and take amazing pictures as long as your flashlight is off. The flashlight of the camera irritates the mountain gorillas which made lead to harm when they get mad, on this safari you go with your packed lunch so after an encounter with gorillas you will trek back to the park’s headquarters and head back to your lodge. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali
