Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda
On the 1st day of 3 days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari you are to arrive in Kigali using Kigali international airport, upon you arrival you will be picked from the airport by our guide who will be your driver on the safari. From the airport you will go for a short city tour as long as it permits visiting interesting sites such as Kigali museum, Gisozi genocide memorial site, craft market and many more. After wards you will depart for volcanoes national park in Musanze on a drive of 2 hours, on your way you will enjoy views of green hills and upon arrival you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: mountain gorilla trekking
On the 2nd day of 3 days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari you are to have early morning breakfast at your lodge then head to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing about the right code of conduct while in the presence of mountain gorillas. After the briefing you will be allocated a mountain gorilla group to trek and then head in to the forests trekking for mountain gorillas, this exercise takes about 2-6 hours depending on the movement on the mountain gorillas and your ranger guide knows better where to find them. Meeting mountain gorillas in their natural habitat is a mind blowing experience offering a chance to observe these amazing creatures up-close and take amazing picture with your flashlight off, being in the presence of mountain gorillas is only limited to 1 hour and when it elapses you head back to the park’s headquarters. Then meet your safari driver and head to your lodge, in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: visit twin lakes and transfer back to Kigali
On the 3rd day of 3 days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari you will have early morning breakfast, checkout of your lodge heading on a visit to Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo, Twin lakes are situated at the base of Mount Muhabura and while on your visit to these lakes you will enjoy magnificent views perfect for pictures and spot many birds such as s talks, cranes, darters, Kingfishers, Cormorants and Hammerkops and many more. After the experience you will transfer to Kigali city and upon your arrival you will have lunch and then be dropped off either at the airport of at your lodge
