This 10 Days Uganda Safari tour takes you to Murchison Falls where you will enjoy game viewing drives, a hike to the top of the falls and a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile. After proceeding to Kibale Forest for Chimpanzee trekking and a Bigodi nature walk then connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park for more game sightings and a boat ride on the amazing Kazinga channel. The last leg of the safari takes you to the Bwindi impenetrable Forest national park through the Ishasha sector where you will see the tree climbing lions. The last activity on the trip will be Gorilla Tracking where you will see the Endangered Mountain Gorillas.

Detailed Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls – Rhino tracking and top of the falls visit
Depending on your location in Kampala/Entebbe, you will meet your safari driver to start your Uganda safari with a transfer to Murchison falls national park. It’s a 6-7 hours’ drive with en route stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, 3 hours’ drive from Kampala for Rhino trekking experience. You will have a briefing for your rhino tracking experience with your walking cover shoes/boots. You will then connect to the starting point of the track to search for the rhinos. This will take 1-2 hours and also spend some quality time viewing the rhinos.
After the activity, you will have lunch then connect to Murchison falls national park entering through Kichumbanyobo gate from Masindi town. Arrive in the park, visit the top of the falls before you proceed to your lodge to rest. Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise along the Nile
Early morning breakfast and then go for a morning game drive at the delta where you may spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. Return and have lunch then at 2pm, you will go for a launch cruise at the bottom of the Murchison Falls along River Nile, enjoy streaming views of hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe.
After the boat cruise at the bottom of the falls, you will hike up the top of the falls where you will be picked up by your driver to return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at lodge as the above
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Bigodi wetland visit
Wake up early, have breakfast and embark on your drive to Kibale national park. It’s a 7-8 hours’ drive with en-route lunch in for portal town. Proceed for a 2 hours nature walk before you connect to your lodge for relation dinner and overnight stay at Isunga Lodge for budget/ Chimpanzee Guesthouse for Mid-range/Chimpundu lodge for luxury on full board basis.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee trekking with your packed food and water. Meet your guide at the head office then enter the rainforest to start searching for the chimpanzee, this will take 2-5 hours to find the chimpanzees. On seeing them, you will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees while taking pictures.
After tracking, you will refresh at the lodge then go for a 2-3 hours’ nature walk then proceed to transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Day 5: Lion tracking/game drive and Boat cruise
On the 5th day of your 10 Days Uganda Safari Tour, After breakfast early morning, go for a lion tracking experience where you are guaranteed to view the lions, enjoy en-route game drive at Kisenyi area where you will spot a good number of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes and all species of antelopes.
After enjoying your lunch at the lodge, go for your boat trip along the Kazinga channel for yet another wildlife/bird watching experience as you cruise on lake Edward/George. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
After breakfast, drive out of the park to connect to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park (home of Uganda Mountain Gorillas) with en-route game drive in Ishasha sector for chances od spotting the tree climbing lions and en-=route lunch. Day 7: Gorilla trekking experience – Batwa community tour
Wake up early, have breakfast and connect to the forest with your packed food and water. The briefing from the park warden about the gorillas starts at 8 am where your will be guided on highlights about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from 2-8 hours. Once you reach the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away. Return to the lodge to unwind. Later afternoon, visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience of the Batwa people and their way of life. Retunr to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 8: Full day at Lake Bunyonyi
On the 8th day of your 10 Days Uganda Safari Tour, Wake up early and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, It’s a 2 hours’ drive. Lake Bunyonyi is located in Kabale district close to Uganda-Rwanda border and it is the deepest lake in East Africa and Bilharzia free lake for human consumption in different activities like swimming. Upon reaching, connect to explore the lake on a boat trip and visit some of the interesting islands. Bunyonyi comprises of 29 islands especially the punishment island and the lake is the best place of relaxation. Later afternoon, explore the zip-lining experience at Lake Bunyonyi. Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo – walking safari
On the 9th day of your 10 Days Uganda Safari Tour, After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo national park. It is about 4-5 hours’ drive, arriving at the park at good time for lunch. After lunch, take on a walking safari where you will be able to spot animals on foot with a guided ranger. Connect for an evening game drive in the park for animals like the Zebras, Impala, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Giraffes, Lions, Leopards and other animals, Later evening, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Eagles Nest lodge for budget/Arcadia Cottages Lake Mburo for mid-range/Mihingo Safari Lodge for luxury option
Day 10: Morning game drive – Return to Kampala/Departure
After breakfast at the lodge, connect for an early morning game drive for the early risers like lions and leopards along with other animals. Thereafter, drive out of the park and embark on your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe with en route lunch and stop at the Uganda Equator. Arrive Kampala/Entebbe late afternoon, you will be dropped off at a place you advise or at Entebbe international airport for your onward flight back home. End of tour.
